Here’s a Vintage Lee Storm Rider Denim Jacket. A blanket lined version classic Lee Riders jacket. The first Lee Storm rider saw light in the year of 1949, one cold winters after the unlined version was first released. In 1953 the lined jacket was renamed to Storm Rider.

This particular garment is from the 70’s. The size tag says 42R and we would say it is about a modern Medium or Large. This cool western denim jacket was probably made to be worn tight back in the 70’s, but it will of course be perfect to wear as a more roomy outer layer.

The jacket is in a used condition. But regarding to its age its still pretty good. And the way its been worn in, it looks just amazing. It’s hard to imagin that this jacket has been unwashed and dark blue once, now it has a patina tha only comes from decades of wear. The most notable thing is that the jacket is missing a button on the front and where it sat there is now a small hole. It also has a small hole on the back, a “cat eye” button at the bottom of the back is missing and it has a tear in the lining (see picture).
