Second Hand Wrangler Blue Bell Embroidered Red Denim Jacket

This Wrangler jacket is a homage of a classic Wrangler Blue Bell 11MJ jacket from the late 40´s. The pleated front is a way to give the otherwise sturdy denim fabric some flexibility and the dots that keep the fold in place are built up by closely spaces stitches, a detail that has proven to stand the test of time compared to many other solutions, where more loosely spaced stitches come out after a decade or two and rivets rand to eat a hole in the fabric as the wearer moves through life. This jacket also has another detail associated with Wrangler, the elastic bands at the lower back. These give the jacket a tighter fit which was appreciated and functional and appreciated among the Rodeo stars.

The jacket is a reproduction of one of the earliest Wrangler Blue Bell jacket designed by the legendary Rodeo Ben, named 8MZ. The back has a beautiful machine made Wrangler jeans embroidery. The originals of these jackets were made to sponsor rodeo stars in the 40s. This reproduction was made in a limited edition by Wrangler in the early 20 th century.

This jacket is second hand but in a very top condition without any signs of wear. The bright red shade looks just perfect with the yellow embroidery. Combine it with a pair of white jeans and a big white hat for summer adventures!
