Chamula knits are are made of Merino wool making themwarm and soft. The wool comes from 100% locally raised purebred Merino sheep grazing in the Mexican Mountains.
Mexican natives hand-knit each Chamula product one by one for a beautiful hand-made feeling. All production processes are done by hand preformed by careful handiwork of master craftsmen and women. Such as spinning the merino yarn on small hand-built spinning wheels and dyeing the rich colors so each product is one of a kind and very original.
